Practice

Angie commenced full practice and joined Chambers in 2015 after successfully completing her pupillage with Mr. Horace Wong S.C. and Mr. Nelson Miu. Prior to that, she served the first half of her pupillage with Mrs. Lisa D’Almada Remedios and Mr. Derek C.L. Chan S.C.
 
During pupillage, Angie gained experience in both civil and criminal law, involving areas such as employment, contract, commercial, trust, probate, matrimonial, regulatory and protection of personal data privacy under the guidance of her pupil masters.
 
Angie is developing a broad civil practice and has been accepting instructions in various areas such as probate, trust, family (both matrimonial and children), commercial, company, contract, building management, conveyancing and land, intellectual property, shareholder’s dispute, winding up proceedings and general civil litigation.
 
Angie has appeared as an advocate in her own right in various levels of Court including the Magistrates’ Court, the Lands Tribunal, the District Court, the Family Court and the Court of First Instance. She has also appeared as a led junior in the Family Court and the Court of First Instance.
 
Angie has also been accepting instructions in advisory works in various areas such as probate, banking and finance, commercial, contract, land, landlord and tenant, employment law and arbitration/conflict of laws.
 
Together with Mr. Nelson Miu, Angie has delivered two CPD seminars on contentious probate in October 2016 and June 2017.
