Mini-Pupillage Pupillage
Law students may find it useful, through spending some time as a student in our Chambers, to get an introduction to the life of a barrister before deciding on the direction in which their career should go. We usually take on summer students from June to September and winter students from December to January of each year. Vacation students will usually spend 2 to 4 weeks with one or two members of our Chambers between June and September or December and January of each year, in order to be exposed to a variety of work, subject to the workload of the members of our Chambers concerned.

Students who may be interested in applying for pupillage with our Chambers are encouraged to apply to be vacation students before the completion of their legal study, but this is not a pre-condition for pupillage.

Applications should be made in writing and should include (1) a cover letter stating, inter alia, why you wish to join our Chambers as a vacation student and your intended commencement dates; and (2) an updated curriculum vitae. Applications should be addressed to the Pupillage Committee by post to 10/F, New Henry House, Central and should not be made later than 6 months prior to the intended commencement date of mini-pupillage.
